Even though I spent 13 months there & missed 2
REFORGERs, I did go to Graf & Vilseck. And our ammo
bunker...wherever the hell that was!
I started a "Rivers Barracks...The Zoo" on FaceBook.
It took off! I couldn't believe it!
Lots of Army buddies reuniting.
It's great.

I was there from '82-'83 and Man, it was a crazy place... I remember this party where we had to jump out the window on the top floor to evade the MP's and crawl along the snow covered roof to another room! Why we didn't die is beyond me! The only thing that kept us from falling off was that little railing like crap that ran the length of the roof... suffice to say, we were all sobered up by the time we got back inside!
