I remember you...I was the HHB Commander back then! Surprised anyone remembers my name. I've run into a few others since leaving the 92d...Murphy (from Survey)...Siemanski (sp? - from Redeye)...Quandt (from the S2)...Moon (from S-3)...Bristow (A Btry)...I always look back on that time is one of the most privileged in my career....

Is 1sgt Quandt still around? anyone know how to get ahold of him. Believe it or not him and CSM Shinpoch were two very big mentors in my military career.

I was stationed at Rivers AKA: "The Zoo" too. I was at C Btry 6/9 FA across from you guys. We were probably the guys always raising hell and having the MP's coming in vans fulls to get us out of the club! I still remember that old german barber. Man, was he a nice guy! I can't remember his name though. I was in supply and I was the armorer for our battery. The armorer in HQ battery shot himself in the head in his supply room after he caught his wife sleeping with another guy in bed. He did it on a friday night and we never found him until monday morning. If he did it in the arms room, we would of found him sooner as the CQ always did the arms room checks.

I was a 63D in SVC Battery, 2/92 from '80 - '82. I worked in Bn Maintenence. I remember SFC Quandt. He was the leader of our Nijemegen March team in '81. I think he was in HHQ.
