Red Devils, I was one from 84 to 87. Recently got picked-up for a Reserve tour as an 05 in USAREUR HQs in Heidelberg, Germany. Artillery's dead in Europe, V Corps Artillery went away two years ago. Only a handfull of artillery units left in Germany. Germany's awsome and I've never had so much fun. Red Devil on duty.

I ended my tour as a clerk-typist in S-3 at V Corps Artillery after 32nd Arty. Group (Babenhausen), and TDY at Gutleut Kaserne behind the Hauptbahnhof in Frankrfurt, and began at HQ Btry. 2/92nd in Giessen (I was a good clerk-typist, but I never passed inspections in barracks at Rivers in Giessen). (1962-63). This is now very nearly 50 years ago. Can that be? -Jan (perpetual PFC)
