I was at Rivers Barracks from 1977 to 1980 and had one hell of a time, got there right out of basic and spent four good years then back to Knox, but would love to find a few good freinds from the C 2/92...I worked in the Motor Pool, and for all that had the fun time in Graf I know theres some stories from there.

Hello fellow "Zoo animals', I was stationed there in the 78-79 time frame and I was in your "sister" battalion across the quad "the mighty 6th & 9th" I have met up with an old bud I had met over there one morning coming back from the mess hall His wife has posted on this same thread, His name is Mike Barberian,..we just had a reunion of the guys we could get together on the 5th of July ,...which she has listed in her post. We have a website on Miltary.com but we don't have a forum like this where everyone chats. I am hoping as I'm sure the 2 Mikes and Dave are to met more guys from back there to go over pictures and old memories with. I was in Service Battery and I worked in the supply division as a Diesel Tanker truck driver. I used to refuel all the tracks, APC's Gamagoats and guns out at Graf. We had it made because we could go where we wanted when ever we wanted due to being in supply and being a tanker the CO had no control over us. My section SGt name was SSgt Sharky he was pretty cool I can't remember my chiefs name but there are some guys in SVC BTTY I'd love to see again . There was an ammo truck driver by the name of Cecil Amen,..crazy SOB got his head all buzzed on the beer over there and the "other things" that were available,..and jumped out the 2nd floor window trying to slide down the rain gutter down spout!!! Another guy was Bob O'brian He was a good bud of mine while I was there,..We also had a guy that was a Graf Vet when I was still a "CRUIT!!" All I remember was his name was WOODY and he drove the M88. Lots of stories and lots of good times we had there. Hope to hear from some more guys from our unit and the 2/92,... Maybe someone has a old picture of me and my tanker (I was too young and stupid to take any) The 5 ton had the words painted across the hood "ATOMIC PUNK" ttyl Don Fossett a.k.a Capt beer Heart
